Policy
The bay is for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, and MINI. Nordbahn is an independent shop. It is not a dealer for any of those marques, and it does not use their marks as its own. A car outside that list is declined at the door, even if the hoist is free.
Parts are ordered after you approve a written estimate. The diagnostic hour is $165. If you approve the repair on that same visit, the hour is credited toward the labour. If you decline, the diagnostic stands as the invoice. Shop labour after that hour is $145.
Labour on the repair we performed is covered for 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first. That covers the workmanship, not a new fault in a different system. Parts follow the warranty printed by the supplier. Wear items are wear items: a set of pads can be right and still be used up by the way the car is driven.
If the same symptom returns inside the workmanship window, bring the car back. We look at it without a new diagnostic fee when the complaint matches the invoice. A different warning light is a new visit.
We call when the car is ready. After three business days, storage is $35 a day. A car we cannot reach the owner about is held, and the storage still accrues.
The invoice is due at pickup. A deposit can be asked when a part is special-order and cannot be returned. That deposit is the part, and it is listed on the estimate before you pay it.
